Kristina Bermudez has worked as an independent freelance dance artist in a myriad of projects ranging in contemporary dance, theater, and film. A Brooklyn-based choreographer and collaborator, she focuses on ways to translate movement for accessible consumption. Her work fosters inclusiveness, accessibility, and community through immersive experiences and non-traditional staging while maintaining focus on sustainability and its relationship to her work. She is the Artistic Director of Project.KB, a Brownsville-based production organization whose mission is to build a sustainable economy through dance. Kristina is thrilled to be teaching the Ballet & Choreography classes!
